With this Armstrong 3200 ft/lb Reaction Bar Torque Multiplier, low input torque is required and can be applied easily by one person using a standard 1/2 drive torque wrench. Internal planetary gear system provides strength and durability. Square drive shears at 3% to 10% of overload torque to protect against expensive internal damage and the square drive can then be easily replaced. Built in anti-backlash maintains the multipliers input torque allowing the use of ratcheting head torque wrench. A built in angle of turn protractor displays the output angle for use on fasteners requiring a specific angle rotation after applied torque. The torque multiplier with an impact socket on the output square is placed on the fastener to be turned with the reaction bar restrained against some substantial part of the equipment being serviced. Input and output rotation directions are the same. Torque reaction on the reaction arm is in the opposite direction from the input/output force. Accurate +/- 5% CW from 20% to 100% of wrench capability.
